The Crown Steam SX-55GCR gas convection steamer is a two compartment model. Each compartment contains an individual, gas fired stainless steel steam generator rated for 45,000 BTUs each. This unit has a 10 pan capacity, five on top and five on bottom. It has a stainless steel exterior and cooking chamber. There is a delime mode power setting along with a deliming port on the right side panel. Split water connections allow for a simple hook up for a treated water system. The Crown Steam SX-55GCR is mounted on a 18"H stainless steel cabinet base. A 60 minute electric timer is included with audible alarm for loud kitchens. Its heavy duty door has an inner liner of stainless steel with a full perimeter gasket seal and an outer liner of one piece all welded stainless steel. Steam flow to the cooking chamber is cut off when the door is opened, and reactivated when the door is closed, saving energy. A stainless steel drain trough collects condensate each time the door is opened. This model is NSF listed. Comes in your choice of LP or natural gas and requires a 120V connection.
