The Steam Max-S1BBL OneFlow anti-scale system is a 20-inch 4-GPM single-stage system that conditions cold water and provides scale protection on internal surfaces of equipment. It extends the equipment life by transforming hard minerals into harmless, inactive microscopic particles. Used for commercial and foodservice applications, its specially designed components are installed before water-using device such as steamers, water heaters, hot beverage systems and appliances designed to protect against the effects of hard water. This is not a water softener that adds chemicals or removes minerals, but instead prevents scale buildup through the use of environmentally friendly technology. Its single cartridge has a 3/8-inch NPT connection and uses media that should be replaced every 12 months.
