The Lang 148CMW is an electric cheesemelter to assist with the heating and finishing of soups, appetizers and signature dishes. This countertop or wall mount cheesemaker is ideal for commercial kitchens with medium-volume cooking needs and storage constraints. It features a stainless steel front, top, and sides with aluminized steel back to ensure corrosion resistance with and a long service life. The cheesemelter comes with (4) adjustable chrome-plated plate racks for efficient use of the space inside the cabinet. The 4" adjustable legs are provided with the countertop model for stability on uneven surfaces.Its direct-wired infrared heater is mounted on the top for even heat distribution inside the cabinet. The efficient and powerful quartz heating elements are capable of delivering heat up to 1650°F within 10 seconds, courtesy its 1200 Watts per feet heating capacity. The weight-of-plate technology enables the cheesemelter to start heating food without needing to preheat. This technology saves time and energy with the instant on and off operation. The access to the plates is made convenient with the large and unrestricted opening of the cheesemaker. It comes equipped with a heat indicator light with constant heat switch.
