The Padeno World Cuisene 5-1/4 Gallon Manual Salad Dryer has multiple gears to create a centrifugal force that pulls the greens to the baskets sides while water if flung out through the slots. The lettuce needs to be dried after washing to hold oil-based dressing. It is most efficient when used with about 10 pounds of greens. This dryer has reinforced encased gears and a brake to safely stop the spinning, which prevents the gears from breaking. Conforms to ANSI/NSF Standard 2.
