The Southbend 4601DD-3G Commercial Gas Range is a multi-purpose unit that will enhance the productivity and efficiency of a commercial kitchen. Available with multiple optional features, users can customize the unit depending upon their requirements. The full-size sheet pan on the oven can be fitted from front to back or side to side. The ovens have thermostatic controls that allow snap-action temperature control. Running on natural or LP gas, the unit functions as an oven, a burner stove, and a griddle. It features twin-ovens at the bottom and 4 cast iron clog-free burners that generate 24,000 BTU of heating power.
The 4" stainless steel front rail, front, and sides can be easily cleaned and are corrosion-resistant. It has a front located manual mechanism that shuts off the gas supply to the entire range. The cast-iron grates can easily hold 14" stockpots while the griddle/broiler features a removable grease pan for easy cleaning. To aid easy operation, the oven bases have a battery spark ignition mechanism installed on them. Strategical arrangement of the port allows for even distribution of the flame. There is a built-in drip ring to protect the burners from grease and oil dripping from pots and pans. The 45,000 BTU NAT ovens have spring-assisted, counterweight doors.
They have a standing pilot system and a thermostat with a temperature range from 175°F to 550°F. With double-sided full porcelain enamel interior, the oven offers superior cleanability and corrosion protection. The coved corners on the interiors aid easy cleaning, eliminate hot/cold spots and enhance airflow. Featuring a 1/2" polished steel surface, the griddle on the unit has manual controls and has a grease trough that can be easily cleaned.
