This Southbend HDO-36 Flat Top Gas Countertop Range is a gas hot plate that has six (6) burners, each of which generates heating power of up to 33,000 BTU per hour on natural gas models and 24,000 BTU per hour on LP gas models. The front and sides of this model are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Made of cast iron, the non-clogging burners can be controlled with hi/low burner controls. The rear and bottom panels on the unit are made of aluminized steel. Each burner is controlled by a gas valve that allows independent control of the flame. One standing pilot is provided for servicing each burner. This countertop range has a 3/4" rear gas connection installed as a standard feature.
Southbend HDO-36 is fitted with removable flush top grates. The center-to-center measurement between the burners is approximately 12" from both side-to-side and front-to-back. The flush top 12" top grates can be easily removed for easy cleaning. A stainless steel full-width crumb tray is provided on the unit. The four (4) 4" adjustable stainless steel legs ensure maximum stability on countertops.
It is perfect to be used in restaurants, delis, cafes, and other commercial food joints. The unit is NSF listed and generates a total heating power of 144,000 BTU in LP gas variants and 198,000 BTU in natural gas variants. Weighing 253 lbs, the unit can be easily moved without much effort.
